Lot of filler, comingled with greatness
Sound is very very bass heavy.
MEMPHIS > Shem-Rah Boo > Plan B - 1st jam in MEMPHIS is a usual MEMPHIS jam but it's played well. Nothing you haven't heard before but good stuff overall. The jam out of MEMPHIS gets very digital and turns dancey quicker than usual. This jam is really cool. The jam out of Shem-Rah Boo is tranced out to the max, and is really really really awesome. Near the end they kind of telegraph the segue into Plan B, but it turns out pretty cool. They actually jam out the middle of Plan B, which would normally be awesome. However, there's really nothing about this that is that cool and it actually gets a little boring.
Caterpillar > Vassillios > Rainbow Song - The jam in Caterpillar is boring and doesn't get that far from Caterpillar, but that's expected as it was still pretty new. They actually tack on an outro jam, and even though the outro stays in Caterpillar territory for quite a while, they eventually get into an actual jam. Nothing here that I love, but cool that they were trying new stuff with a new song. Not much of a jam into Rainbow Song from Vassillios but it winds up flowing well.
7-11 > P&D > KOTW > Jigsaw Earth - The 1st jam in 7-11 gets a little bit away from the 7-11 reggae for a little bit, which is a nice little change. This jam develops into a SICK groove that turns out to be really cool even if it doesn't really go anywhere. The 2nd jam is a straight-up trance throwdown with a driving bassline. After a while they tone things down a bit, and suddenly P&D has arrived. The segue to P&D takes a little too long for my liking, but whatever. There's no real jam out of P&D so much as there is a lot of wankery. Not really my thing. However, it is cool the way that the middle of KOTW comes out of it. It's really cool the way that they stretch out the middle of KOTW here, and it gets very twisted and psychedelic for quite a while. It turns into a dub jam and you can feel Jigsaw coming for a while. I don't normally like the 1st jams in Jigsaw because they all feel pretty predictable, but I really like what Magner is doing in this one and the way Barber is playing. The 2nd jam turns out to be really cool to with some great playing from Sammy and (again) Magner. The peak is really really really fantastic!
Hope - Standard.
3 stars here. Standouts: MEMPHIS > SRB, 7-11, KOTW > Jigsaw. The standout jams are (mostly) very very good.

Lots of breaking bottles, but if you have iTunes you can tweek a lot of the bad sound. Bass heavy, and all around a pretty poor recording. This is definately due to the venue. It was horrible!!!! The show was cool, but there were three bands. One of the bands was a country band. YOu weren't allowed to enter the venue until the previous show was complete. Luckily it was Daylight savings time and we had an extra hour.
